Client Responsibilities

Scope and Limitations

Our penetration testing services are conducted within agreed-upon parameters. Testing is performed with the intent to identify security vulnerabilities without causing damage to your systems. However, you acknowledge that:

• No security assessment can guarantee 100% identification of all vulnerabilities
• Testing may involve some risk to system availability
• Results are based on the configuration at the time of testing

Confidentiality

Pentestly maintains strict confidentiality regarding all client information and testing results. We will not disclose any information about your systems, vulnerabilities, or business operations to third parties without your explicit written consent, except as required by law.

Intellectual Property

All methodologies, tools, and processes developed by Pentestly remain our intellectual property. Test results and recommendations provided to you may be used for your internal security improvement purposes only.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements. Generally:

• Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt
• Late payments may incur additional charges
• Services may be suspended for non-payment

Limitation of Liability

Pentestly's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or any security incidents that may occur.

Professional Standards

Our services are conducted in accordance with industry best practices and ethical guidelines. We maintain professional certifications and follow responsible disclosure practices for any vulnerabilities discovered.

Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination, all confidential information must be returned or destroyed, and outstanding payments become immediately due.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with UK arbitration rules.
